SM 13 - Peptides as therapeutics
In this module, you will gain hands-on experience in the synthesis and modification of peptides and proteins, including techniques such as solid-phase peptide synthesis, native chemical ligation, and peptide labeling strategies. You will explore peptide libraries, arrays, and advanced analytical methods such as mass spectrometry, chromatography, and spectroscopy, while studying functional peptides including antimicrobial peptides, hormones, and cell-penetrating sequences. By the end of the course, you will be equipped to apply peptide science in research and technology, with a particular focus on peptide therapeutics.
