SM 03 - Epigenetics
In this module, you will explore the mechanisms and regulation of the epigenome, from DNA methylation and chromatin remodeling to cell fate determination and transcriptional control, using cutting-edge technologies such as sequencing, FISH, mass cytometry, and structural biochemistry. Through hands-on experiments—including cell culture, protein biochemistry, pull-down assays, qPCR, and advanced imaging—you will learn to design and analyze studies that link epigenetic modifications to development, ageing, and disease.
