SM 17 (GSM 05) - Molecular Human Genetics
In this module, you will explore the molecular basis of human inherited diseases, including neuromuscular, neurodegenerative, skeletal, kidney disorders, and hereditary tumor syndromes. You will gain hands-on experience with modern molecular genetics and molecular biology techniques, from sequencing, PCR, and CRISPR/Cas9 editing to cell culture, iPSC differentiation, protein analysis, and microscopy. By the end of the course, you will be able to independently design and execute experiments to investigate disease mechanisms and evaluate potential therapeutic approaches.
