SM 14 (GSM 04) - Cell Death in Inflammation, Immunity and Disease

In this module, you will explore the molecular mechanisms and regulation of different forms of programmed cell death, including apoptosis, necroptosis, pyroptosis, and ferroptosis, and their roles in inflammation, immunity, and disease. You will gain hands-on experience with molecular, biochemical, and imaging techniques, including cell culture, transfection, protein and DNA analysis, immunofluorescence, and FACS-based assays. By the end of the course, you will be able to independently design experiments, analyze cell death pathways, and apply these skills to diverse questions in cell biology and disease research.
