SM 11 - Molecular Genetics
This module focuses on the molecular genetics of eukaryotic gene expression, with a particular emphasis on RNA-binding proteins and their roles in transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulation. Students explore experimental and computational approaches to analyze RNA processing, translation, and decay, while gaining hands-on experience in advanced molecular biology and RNA analysis techniques. Through independent project work, participants develop a deep understanding of RNA biology and its relevance to cellular regulation and human disease.
