SM 10 - Posttranslational Regulation of Proteins

This module explores how posttranslational modifications shape protein function, localization, stability, and interactions. Students investigate key regulatory systems — including phosphorylation, ubiquitination, acetylation, and glycosylation — using molecular, biochemical, and bioinformatic approaches. Through hands-on work and project-based learning, participants gain practical experience in protein analysis, mass spectrometry, and data-driven exploration of modification pathways as cellular regulators and drug targets.
