Project Proposal Module
The Project Proposal is designed to prepare you directly for your Master’s Thesis. Over the course of four weeks, you will write a short research proposal that introduces your thesis topic and outlines the methods and steps you plan to take to achieve your research goals. The project is usually supervised and evaluated by your future master’s thesis supervisor.
In addition, you are required to attend at least ten scientific lectures as part of this module. These lectures will broaden your perspective across the diverse research fields represented on the Cologne campus and help you become familiar with everyday academic life.
Important: To begin the project proposal, you must have successfully completed all other modules, except for the Master’s Thesis and one additional module.
You can start the Project Proposal only after registering with the Examination Office and receiving the corresponding confirmation.
