Laboratory Project Module
The Laboratory Project Modules give you the opportunity to develop your individual interests and explore new research directions freely. You can complete these modules at the University of Cologne, the University Hospital, within research clusters, at other universities, in industry, or even abroad.
Each laboratory module typically lasts three to four months and focuses on an extended laboratory phase, during which you will work on a scientific question as part of a research group. The module concludes with an internship report and a presentation within the group seminar.
You are responsible for organizing your Laboratory Project Module independently.
Important: To begin your Laboratory Project Module, you must have successfully completed one Subject Module.
Before starting a Laboratory Project Module, you must register with the Examination Office, and the registration must be confirmed (see Exams/Documents).
