ABBM 

…is a lecture series with accompanying tutorials held throughout the winter term (every Tuesday and Friday).

Examination requirements:
To take part, you must be registered for the module in KLIPS, and you will be automatically registered for the first examination date.

Examination type:
Written examination — 120 minutes

Composition of the module grade:
Written examination (100%)

Please note:
For all subsequent examination dates, active registration in KLIPS (via the Examination Office) is required.

  • ABMM1: February 9, 2026
  • ABMM2: March 27, 2026
  • ABMM3: September 4, 2026

 

HotTopics 

…is a seminar module that begins with introductory lectures on a range of current research subjects. Within this framework, you will choose a topic of your own interest and prepare a presentation on it.

Examination requirements:
To take part, you must be registered for the module in KLIPS, and you will be automatically registered for the examination.

Examination type:
Written homework/presentation outline

Composition of the module grade:
Written homework (100%)

Exam dates for the summer term 2026:

  • HotTopics mini-conference 27.-30.07.2026

 

Scientific Competency 

…is a workshop module that teaches you how to structure and write a research proposal effectively.

Examination requirements:
To take part, you must be registered for the module in KLIPS, and you will be automatically registered for the examination.

Examination type:
Essay in style of a research proposal.

Composition of the module grade:
Essay (100%)

Exam date for the winter term 2025/26:

  • April 10, 2026 (submission date)
